How to Enter a Rose (Horticulture) Specimen
Review the article on Preparing Roses for the Show.
Purchase, if needed, and use the guide:
Handbook for Selecting Roses to accurately name
your rose or get assistance at the show from the
society members helping with Set up, Staging, and
Placement.
Review the page on filling out an entry tag.
Read through the Horticulture Schedule for the various classes to see those
that interest you.
Practice all you can at home.  It makes entering on the day of the show so
much easier!  The 2010 Rose Show will be on June 26th but, hopefully,
the day won’t be so cold!  2009 could have been held two weeks later and
more of us would have had roses blooming - but you can’t plan on the weather!
